SELLING SWIMMING

My respects to Mark Foster.
UK Maverick and Bad-boy of swimming,
Selected to be the UK Flag bearer.

1948 at the XIVth Olympioc games, London
Korea beat Iraq 120-20 and
China beat Iraq 125-25 in basketball.

Iraqi basketball team of 2008?
How have the Bush/Cheney Blair/Straw wars
Effected IRAQI olympic basketball?
I wonder if Iraq plays much baseball?

Addidas anbd Nike get into swimming promotional business.
Sporting creative capitalism?
Haliburtan, I.G faben, BAE systems, FOX, CNN and Rockerfellers
What makes GOOD and BAD creative capitalism?
Livingry vs. Killingry and the links between their backers
Stock holders and intelligence briefs.
Good and/or Bad business as usual?

Why is business and how is it business as usual?
Selling the mostly invisible and unknowable
"products"
To the mostly invisible and unknowable individuals?

Selling truth and reality with a super-hero sports complex?
The media sports police and propaganda machines whirl.
How many sugar filled products can a sports-person sell?
How many pairs of shoes can a runner sell, how many drugs?

Don't start me to talking about swimming,
Its hard to swallow,
I care for swimming facilities and health and fitness
Within the community.
Everybody should have a chance to swim,
Not just the great atheletes of the great Nations!

My sporting bet is that in these 2008 OLYMPICS
The most power crazed, militaristric, industrial
Agricultural Nations will seize the most
GOLD AND SILVER.
As throughout History!
Bush is opening the games,
Go figure...

At the end of these summer games 6008
The hierrarchy of super-TSOG nations may look
The same as past Olympic games.
The Big, rich, bully nations at the TOP
The poorer, smaller, war-torn nations at the BOTTOM.
Or missing from the GAMES entirely.

How about a hadicap for competing SPORTING NATIONS
Who harbour NUCLEAR WEAPONS, or deal arms or
Maybe a national pollution hadicap?
What is a professional atheletes carbon footprint like
Compared with the vast majority of earth population?
Jet setting sports people, why not run or swim home?

I communicate these words with a sportsmans experience
10 years in the swimming pool, swimming throuigh the ranks
County, District and National champion (20 years ago)
--Plus all my underwater dreams (See wordspore.blogspot.com

I have practical and theoretical knowledge of swimming,
The slogan i created on the 31st December 2005 at
Brierley Hill Swimming baths was SWIMMING NOT WINNING.
In the face of my defeat by Dudley Council, and the closure
And eventual demolishion of the functional swimming baths.
Where i had swam over 10'000 miles and taught numerous Children
To swim over the last 20 years.

I refused to leave the pool between 3.30 and 4.20 PM.
They lifeguards and Leisure staff called the Heads of staff
In dudley, and the local POLICE.
The errected a steel fence around the pool and even started
Draining the pool with ME in it.
Eventually i completed 78 lengths in protest
I also threw a Hereford and Worcestershire GOLD medal away
Into the pool, as a symbol of my disgust as the double crossed
Crooked lies perpetuated within both local and national Government.

I'm still not bitter and i have my focus.
I'm going for GOLD now.
For the banks.
What is money, HOW is it and why is it that way.
Who distributes it and how.
Tell me, tell me all.

GOLD!, how is it gold and why?
Silver?
What creates and inflates and deflates values systems for MINERALS?
Availability? USURY?
How about the relative value of paper money?

An olympic gold medal should go to a nations sporting
Economists, the indipendent journalists who ask and seek
the question of HOW and WHY is money money?
The history of credit, war bank-rolling, money games and rules?

Play the game, be fair
Think social credit and Silvio Gessell's natural economic order
LETS. Major Douglas, Ezra Pound and Robert Anton Wilson!

How do you sell sports?
Put a little sugar on it, brand it.
Apply non-sporting business tactics?

letr the games begin!
